O Mahony Insurances Ltd T/A OMI is remunerated by payments received from the product producers for the work involved in placing an order and finalising the product with them on your behalf. (Some product producers do not make any payment).

An administration fee may also be charged or by agreement a combination of both. If a fee other than our standard fee is to be applied for the work activity and time spent in seeking the best terms, advice, product and product producer for your specific needs, we will confirm and agree this with you.

Standard administration fees will be applied to Commercial, Corporate and Personal Lines business in respect of New Business, Renewal and Mid-term alterations.

Administration Charges

Our brokerage fees in relation to Initial placement, Renewal or Alteration of policies are listed below

The firm will charge you a fixed fee or a percentage of the insurance premium and levies for the following services provided

Advice without placement of contract is chargeable on a time distribution basis:-

Director - €200 per hour

Account Executives/ Staff - €75 per hour

It is the policy of OMI to disclose actual fees charged on our documentation. Where as a result of a cancellation or an alteration a credit is returned from an Insurer, we will return this credit to you promptly. Where we arrange Insurance Premium Finance on your behalf a handling fee / administration charge of up to 1% of the value of the loan will apply.
